Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet
I have been loyal to Dior foundation for many years but when I made the switch to liquid foundation (from powder), I didn't like the Dior one as much. I finally found the perfect one - the Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet. I love the scent of it too.

It's funny in my previous post I said I would update my blog more frequently but as expected, that didn't happen. In fact, I think the time from that post to this one is probably the longest time I haven't blogged. I just haven't had the time these days. I feel extremely busy yet I'm also not because I've been re-watching the entire series of Desperate Housewives (one of my favourite shows) from the beginning. Back to back episodes..I'm now up to season 3.

Crystal Head Vodka window cleaner
I poured out the rest of the vodka and washed the Crystal Head bottle..now it makes for the perfect foundation brush holder. The window cleaners came today. Luckily I was awake this time and had my curtains closed (usually they come early in the morning when I'm still in bed...)

AQAQ Candice dress white
I'm trying to update my blog more frequently again, so I'll most likely be posting shorter updates rather than saving up all my photos for a big post. And I'll start taking more pictures again. So this is my new dress from AQAQ (one of my favourite brands at the moment!). It is a different style but it's pretty similar to this black one I have from them. I love them both so much! I need more occasions to wear them to though. I also realized how much I've been spending on clothes, food and everything in general these days so I need to stop and save up for a bit. Well, maybe after I get my two upcoming purchases (which I probably shouldn't reveal yet because if I do, I feel like I'd have to buy them lol. I'm still trying to talk myself out of buying them. Or at least delay it.)

I really want to go on a big vacation again this Spring so I have to save. I was supposed to go to Asia with my mom this November but plans fell through..so I may go next Spring or possibly to Europe. My sister just moved to Hong Kong today. It's pretty exciting but unfortunately I may not get to see her for at least a year. I've asked her to start a blog to update us on her new adventure though so maybe I can share the link with you when it's up ;) That's also part of the reason why I may go to Hong Kong again in the near future. Before I do that though, I need to get my new travel site/blog more established first! I don't remember if I mentioned it here before but I am starting a new travel blog, which is going to be more business-oriented than this personal blog. I haven't had much time to work on it lately but I need to start again.

Holt Renfrew Yorkdale Mall
Last Thursday, my sister and I met up at Yorkdale for lunch, then a movie and dinner with my mom. I haven't been to Yorkdale in forever..I didn't know they totally renovated the Holt Renfrew there and added a bunch of new stores! It's actually pretty nice. If it wasn't so far from me I'd go more often.

Make Up For Ever "Artist Shadow"

Make Up For Ever duo eye shadow
In addition to the Make Up For Ever "Artist Liner", the brand also sent me a duo of their "Artist Shadow" eye shadows to try out. They were released in celebration of the brand's 30th anniversary. The entire collection includes 210 different shades, so in other words - any colours you can think of to create any types of looks! I received the Iridescent Snow Gray (I-120) and Metallic Turquoise Blue (ME-232). These two shades complement each other perfectly and I love the silky/creamy texture of them.

Much like the eye liner, the eye shadows offer intense colour payoff and lasts all day. The formula is based on Pigment Atomization and Water-Blend Technology, which makes them super easy to apply and blend. Pigment Atomization is a technology used to maximize colour delivering up to 88% concentrated pigment (the highest on the market). Water-Blend Technology is a technology used to allow for the utmost blendability and even texture.

Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow
The 210 shades are available in Matte, Satin, Metal, Iridescent and Diamond finishes which currently makes it the most extensive range available to consumers.

Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow collection

Purchase it at Sephora: Artist Shadow ($24 for a single/$39 for a duo) & a Custom Palette Case ($1!)
