Hi everyone,
I'm not sure how many readers of my blog even know me personally, but I doubt I've met most of you before. So if you don't, here's a few things about me and what my blogs are basically about. My name is Tiffany & I'm a 20 year old (3rd year) fashion student in university. I've always loved fashion growing up, as well as art and travel. I'm still not sure if I'll be working in the fashion industry in the future. All I want to do is travel the world and check off everything on my list of 93 things to do before I die.
Leftbanked:
This blog is mainly about my day-to-day life. I started it in May of 2008, during my last few months of high school. I honestly don't remember why I got the idea to create a blog and I certainly didn't expect to keep it for so long. In August of 2008, I moved out from my parents' house and into my dream building (at the time) in downtown Toronto - 1 King West. It's a hotel with a small percentage of permanent residents. The following month, I started university. That period marked the beginning of a series of drastic changes in my life.
Since then I've been blogging a lot about my experiences of living by myself and interesting people I met from my building. The best thing about it is meeting people from all around the world, which was the reason why I wanted to live here in the first place. Besides that, I also post a lot of pictures from restaurants and lounges I go to, and everything in between.
Caviar Maki:
This blog is mainly going to be about luxury travel, with many of my other favourite things thrown in. As I mentioned before, I love travelling, staying at nice hotels and visiting lounges. Everything I post about here will be places I wish to visit someday (or favourite places I've visited already). My family loves to travel so I've been lucky enough to visit quite a few places around the world already, including: Canada (the Rockies, the Maritimes, Quebec, Ontario..), USA (Miami, Chicago, Detroit, NYC, New Jersey, Washington, etc), Mexico, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Italy, Vatican City, Germany, Austria, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, & Japan. I will probably be posting past vacation pictures on this blog as well.
Private Blog:
an extension of my main blog, where everything is more "uncensored". Everything I write on there is completely and brutally honest (that's the case for my main blog as well but I don't write in as much detail there). It mainly consists of random thoughts about life, people, friends, boys. If you're interested in reading it, send me an email and I'll give you an invite.
List of random stuff I like: the 6th arrondissement, art, fashion, foreign accents, airports, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Boulevard Haussmann, Breguet, Christian Dior, Copenhagen, LV's damier azur & graphite prints, Denmark, designer goods, exotic places, the Fleur de Lis, France, Guilin, haute couture, Hedi Slimane, the Hermitage Museum, history, Hotel Costes, Hpnotiq drinks, John Galliano, Lanvin, matryoshka dolls, men in suits, Moleskine notebooks, Montmartre, Moscow, Paris, photography, postcards, Scandinavia, Sothebys' real estate, Sweden & their flag, the Swiss Alps, travelling, trenchcoats on men, Vertu phones, and yachts.
Well I think this is long enough. If you're curious about anything else, just ask!
