28. Mad Russian Christmas

I've spent the WHOLE DAY doing my 24 dress designs & I'm still not done. We have to design/draw 24 dresses, front & back..and since I really suck at drawing the human figure I spent a lot of time trying to get it to look decent. I was drawing the dresses & I liked each of them better than the last, so in the end I ended up drawing a lot more than 24 because I hated the first ones I drew.
I think I drew for about 8 hours straight today. It's 3am now & I'm taking a break..I'll probably sleep at 5am tonight. I haven't even eaten much today.
Well this paragraph is most likely making no sense at all since I'm so tired & I shouldn't even waste time blogging right now so I leave you with some pictures...

27. Matryoshkas

I collect Matryoshka dolls so naturally, I love these designer ones. They're all being put up for auction - I don't even know what the starting price is. 5000 euros??
My favourite is the YSL one at the top & also this Ralph Lauren one..

26. sans gras

Life is really stressful right now. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about my future..like studying fashion..because to be honest I don't really like it that much right now. It's horrible to say but it's the truth. I think the only class I like is Intro to the Fashion Industry & Fundamentals of Design/Colour (I actually like the assignments we do) I hate designing clothes, I hate sewing, I hate patternmaking, I hate drawing correctly proportioned figures, I hate learning about the different characteristics/benefits/properties of the millions of different yarns/wools/cottons/etcetcetc (!!!!) Well. The point is I will always love fashion, I just don't know if I'll be working in the industry. The main reasons being: I have no clue what I want to be. There's a very slim chance of having a high paying job. Most people in the industry are very superficial. & The reality isn't as glamourous as it seems.

In an attempt to keep everything I write in my blog as honest as possible, here's what I really want to do for the rest of my life: travel, shop, go to fashion shows, travel, get a loft and do art all day, visit galleries, sit in coffeeshops, shopping sprees in Paris, travel, go to penthouse cocktail parties, take evening strolls along the Left Bank, ski trips in Switzerland, get married to a hot blonde foreign boy.
