16. Cosmos

Cosmopolitan in my lobby.
Things have been quite hectic this week with the move..I can't wait until this week is over so I can finally relax.

Sky Yard at the Drake Hotel with my friend last Thursday.

15. New Life

Today was certainly very, very interesting and a LOT of fun. ;] So many things happened.
First of all -- I'm sitting in a couch in the lobby right now with my laptop. I LOVELOVELOVE 1 King West. My life feels soooo surreal right now. Its 12am and there are a lot of people at the bar. I love the atmosphere. I have a feeling I'll be spending a LOT of nights down here. All these business people in suits and tourists. I don't fit in at all (I'm the youngest for sure hahah..but I love it.) Living in a regular residential condo/apartment would not be like this. It's like a party here every night with nice men in suits.

So anyway I spent most of the day with a friend. As I mentioned before, we went to
the Drake Hotel for dinner. We ate at Sky Yard, the rooftop patio. It was pretty cool. Then we came back to the hotel and walked to the bank. On the way there we saw a business dinner party & another restaurant full of suits.  There are a lot of young & good-looking ones too ;] After that we came back to the bar/lobby here and we each got a cosmo on the rocks and talked for a bit. I'm feeling a bit..strange/lightheaded right now. lol not drunk but..I'm not sure. The cosmo was good though.

I already really love living here!

14. New Home

Just got the keys & now I'm currently in my new condo!!! I packed some stuff and left my house this morning. It's gonna take awhile for me to get used to living here. I'm in the financial district so everywhere, EVERYONE is always dressed in suits. But I do love men in suits. :] More pictures this weekend. All I have now is this one taken from my webcam!

13. Souvenirs

I love collecting stuff from all around the world.
Here's some of the many souvenirs I bought from my recent trips.

12. "He took airplanes like they were buses"

A week ago, I got my wisdom teeth out -- all 4, and none of them had even begun to grow in yet so my gums were cut open. I got some laughing gas at first and two needles into the back of my hand. After breathing in as much of the gas as I could (I thought it wasn't working at first), I suddenly felt really really dizzy and decided to close my eyes. Next thing I knew, they were telling me to wake up and I had cotton in my mouth. I didn't feel any pain until about 2 hours later, and it was so horrible that I stayed in bed the rest of the day until the next morning. (20+ hours of sleep) I didn't eat ANYTHING that day, or even the day after. The third day I had a tiny bit of ice cream. The fourth day, soup. Then the fifth day the pain went away so I had more soup.

I'm REALLY excited for next tuesday, wednesday, and thursday =] Tuesday we get the keys to my new condo!! OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M ALREADY MOVING OUT SO SOON. I'm soooooooooooo excited!!! I love life.
Well I was just reminded today how I should be getting a job. The thing is that the monthly maintenance fees for my place is really expensive (a bit more than $600 while other buildings are normally between $100 & $200) sigh.

11. Nostalgia | Eurotrip Summer 2007

Looking through past vacation photos, I thought I'd post some of the Eurotrip I took a year ago with my mom. I was most excited to go to Paris but in the end I had the most fun in Switzerland. In this entire trip we visited: Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Lucerne, Fussen (just to see Neuschwanstein Castle), Innsbruck, Venice, Rome and Vatican City.
In the photo above I am in St. Mark's Square in Venice (ah so young..I was 17! heheh. & also when my LV Speedy was brand new and squeaky clean)

The Vatican

Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy

Innsbruck, Austria.
Ok, this photo isn't very representative of the city but I am too lazy to upload a new one.

Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany

The view from Mt. Titlis, Switzerland
Saw/met the cutest + nicest Swiss boys here ;]

Lucerne, Switzerland

Paris, France!
Horrible pic of the Eiffel Tower. Listening to Summer in Paris/Hotel Costes non-stop on my iPod. I will be taking this (Summer in Paris) photo each time I come to Paris.

The Moulin Rouge in Paris
yes, we went to see the REAL thing & it's totally different from the movie (for any of you who are unaware). It was AMAZING.
I know it's super touristy but I recommend it if you visit Paris. Those are some souvenirs I bought.

Brussels, Belgium
Beautiful architecture here.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands
On a canal tour riding through their gay pride parade.

If you want to see the rest of my photos from this trip, you can see them in my Facebook albums: PART 1, PART 2, PART 3
