368. Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, everyone!! This year went by extremely fast. I know I (& everyone else) say this practically every year, but this time I truly mean it. 2013 went by in a blur. Last year, I was in New York City exactly at this time. I went there for a few days to celebrate New Year's Eve, unexpectedly loved the city (I remember not liking it the few times I went when I was younger)..and went there again in April and June. A few months later (in September/October), I went to London and Paris for a few weeks. I think the reason why this year flew by was that I always had a trip to look forward to. I love travelling so much, I hope to do a lot more of it next year. I actually have a bigger goal for 2014, but I won't reveal it until I accomplish it. Hopefully I will by this time next year.

Anyway, thank you all for reading my blog. I promise I will make more of an effort to update more frequently next year! & I want to start making it more personal again by writing down my thoughts and all like I used to.

I hope you all have an amazing New Year's Eve! All the best for 2014!!

367. Paris | KONG

Kong Paris
Philippe Starck is one of my favourite designers. I love the unique interiors of his restaurants and hotels. I first discovered his restaurant Kong while browsing through Instagram, and instantly I knew I had to go the next time I was in Paris. I was in Paris this September, and coincidentally so was Anouka (of Luxessed). We decided to meet up for lunch at Kong. I really love the atmosphere in here and the food was great too. It's located a few steps away from Pont Neuf; right beside the Louis Vuitton building. I would definitely come back someday!

Trafalgar Square fountain
Its been about two and a half months since I've been back in Toronto now, and I'm already wishing I was travelling again. Near the end of my trip I was actually looking forward to leaving London, but now when I look back on these photos I miss it so much. I hope to go back again soon..possibly in the Spring? Here's some photos I took of Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus (& surrounding areas). I loved walking around those areas.
