834. Spain Part 1 | La Coruna & Santiago

I finally have some time now for the first blog post of Spain. We arrived a few weeks ago to La Coruna where we have our base for now. If you've followed my blog for awhile you may have seen my posts from here in the past. It is my boyfriend's hometown and where his family lives so we've come together a few times already..I think this is my 4th time visiting. For the first couple of weeks we had 2 friends come to visit from Toronto. So I haven't had much time at all to keep up with my blog and also work and everything, it is quite overwhelming. I am now very behind on all my posts and I don't know when I'll be able to finish with them all lol. I can't believe in the past I used to do daily travel posts on some of my trips.

Right now as I'm making this blog post we are in Madrid for a few days. We came once around Christmas 2018 (my first time). I really like it here. I will hopefully have those posts up soon but for now you can follow me on Instagram for some live updates!

Here is a big post of the past few weeks around La Coruna and Santiago de Compostela! Here in the photo above is their famous landmark, the Tower of Hercules. We accidentally chose the foggiest day to walk up there but it made for some cool drone shots.

Day trip to Santiago de Compostela (about an hour away)

We went hiking one day around an area called Zas. There were some forest trails and around little villages
