314. Trump & STOCK

Another overdue post! I've been so busy this week I barely had any time for my blog. Recently, I met a travel photographer named Jimmy Cohrssen (check out his stuff - amazing photos!) when he came to Toronto for a few days for work. It was only after we met when I realized he took a lot of my favourite luxury hotel and restaurant photos..ones I saved on my computer folders years ago and I never knew who the photographer was until now!! One of the hotels he was shooting here was the Trump Hotel. So he invited me to go along, and I even got to be in a few shots ;) The shots are for my favourite luxury travel magazine which I can't reveal yet - not until they get published..if they do! Here are my photos I took during my day there:

Started off with light and fluffy pancakes for breakfast from STOCK Restaurant on the hotel's 31st floor. Next time I wake up in time for breakfast (which happens once in a blue moon) I must go back for those pancakes.


Plate of chocolates. The restaurant is pretty famous for their artisan chocolates as you can see:




Here is David Chow in their Chocolate Lab (which we were able to get a tour of) a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled private kitchen where all the chocolate and desserts are made. It smelled delicious in there (& I'm not even a huge fan of chocolate)
