111. Living is easy with eyes closed

Souvenirs from the other night at Pravda! I went there with some other people in my building, drank lots of champagne, ate lots of strawberries, Russian tapas, stayed there until well after they closed, had Chinese food with the Pravda stuff, came back to our building and stayed up until 7:30am in the morning in one of our rooms. It left me physically exhausted for the rest of the weekend (& even now), but it was one of the best nights I've had so far at Pravda!

First we started off with food..beer sliders, charcuterie, perogies, black caviar..

Then came the champagne & strawberries

Newborn babies! Cristal & Dom Perignon

A little later on the champagne flute-stacking began..yes, it came crashing down

At the end of the night we each had at least one glass poured on our clothes

Lights back on = closing time

The staff invited us to eat takeout with them after they closed

Back to our building. We all went to someone's room, drank some more until the sun came up.
I will miss these days (& people) when they're over and gone..

I love this view of the city..my building is the flat one.

My friend & I went to Rosewater for a quick drink.

My apple martini. We were literally the only ones here!

A shot from the 2nd level

Not sure why there wasn't anyone else there..but it was a great atmosphere.

106. Fake Venice | Macau

I have such an urge to take a spontaneous trip right now. If I could I would honestly just forget about school for a week or two and fly off to Prague or something. Life experiences like these are way more important than school anyways. Looking at my previous vacation pictures don't really help since it just makes me want to go somewhere even more..and reminds me of how much I want to relive all those moments.

Well I thought it was about time to do another picspam of my trip around Asia from way back in May! Here are my photos of The Venetian in Macau, or what I referred to it as - Fake Venice #1. I went to another "Fake Venice" on this trip..you will probably see it in an upcoming post.

So we took a ferry from Hong Kong to Macau (the "Vegas of Asia"), then one of the Venetian buses shuttled us around on a tour of the city then to the casino/resort. When we went there, half of the Venetian was still under construction. It was SO beautiful inside.

Loved the cloud ceilings
