Today was a nice relaxing Sunday, spent in Yorkville. First we went for a dim sum lunch (which I forgot to take pics of..) then drinks then dinner at a Japanese restaurant. I love the Christmas decorations around this area, and all the store windows. Especially this Jeff Koons display at Louis Vuitton!! I love balloon dogs.
I have been loyal to Dior foundation for many years but when I made the switch to liquid foundation (from powder), I didn't like the Dior one as much. I finally found the perfect one - the Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet. I love the scent of it too.
It's funny in my previous post I said I would update my blog more frequently but as expected, that didn't happen. In fact, I think the time from that post to this one is probably the longest time I haven't blogged. I just haven't had the time these days. I feel extremely busy yet I'm also not because I've been re-watching the entire series of Desperate Housewives (one of my favourite shows) from the beginning. Back to back episodes..I'm now up to season 3.
I poured out the rest of the vodka and washed the Crystal Head bottle..now it makes for the perfect foundation brush holder. The window cleaners came today. Luckily I was awake this time and had my curtains closed (usually they come early in the morning when I'm still in bed...)
Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday. I haven't done much for Christmas this year unfortunately. Here's some photos from the past couple weeks. (PS - don't forget to enter my Anna Sui Giveaway!!):
I decided to go to Paris for several days at the end of my trip to London, right before coming back to Toronto. As many of you probably know already, Paris is my favourite city in the world. I always feel like I'm in a dream when I'm there. & I never want to leave. I miss it a lot now when I look through these photos. It's also impossible to take a bad photo there..the entire city is just so beautiful! Here's some random shots:
I was so excited to have found these! Saw them in a shop window right before meeting a friend for lunch, then went back immediately to buy them afterwards. I LOVE the balloon dogs by Jeff Koons. These are obviously not originals but will do for now. This photo was taken on my hotel room balcony.
Sadaharu Aoki is one of my favourite patisseries. I visited last time in Paris as well (& posted about it here)
