53. Louis Vuitton Graffiti Pareo

My dad called me early this morning (from Hong Kong) while I was still in bed to let me know he's going to Japan tomorrow (jealousjealousjealous) and also China to Xi'An - that place where they have all the terra cotta soldiers in the tomb..just before coming back to Canada.
AND he was like "everything on your list is sold out!" The list is my wishlist of Louis Vuitton graffiti items I wanted him to get for me. I was surprised because Hong Kong has so many Louis Vuitton stores. Then I was scared because I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted the graffiti pareo and if it's all sold out in HK..what are the chances that Toronto will have them?!

After a few frantic phone calls..the Bloor store had it in stock. A couple hours of trying to decide what to do, and subconsciously typing up my entire intro to fashion essay..
I went to ask my bartender (who loves designer stuff as much as me) for advice and he was like "get it! get it!" while I tried to convince him to get those crazy but awesome graffiti shoes.

I loved the SA who helped me today! I asked her about the groom line being relaunched and she just laughed and told me that I was the second customer who asked her about it and that she has no idea. I love finding out things before the SAs.
I also told her that my dad told me all the graffiti is sold out in HK and immediately she was like "oh Hong Kong's ALWAYS sold out of limited edition stuff!" I have to admit I was relieved when she said that because when I found out Toronto had this in stock and not HK, I thought my dad was lying lol.
hmm I also looked at some of the other graffiti items. OMG I WANT SOME GRAFFITI LEGGINGS. They're soo cool. I don't know why I'm so obsessed with everything graffiti now because I hated it at first.

Finally...here it is!
It's actually a sarong but practically everyone uses it as a scarf. It's 6 feet long.

That's all i can say. really.

but uh, speaking of damier graphite (which i didn't know existed until you first mentioned it a long time ago), THE GUY SITTING NEXT TO ME ON THE SUBWAY ON THE WAY TO ART HISTORY HAD A DAMIER GRAPHITE MESSENGER BAG! it made me think of you and your obsession, haha.

i think this is a good purchase because you truly will wear it until you die and it can be your signature scarf! screw Hermes scarves.. just get a Birkin and that's still a good enough Hermes purchase! hahaha wow, i think we need therapy.

  2. OMG! ♥ I've only seen 2 guys in Toronto with it before..one of them I saw on the subway as well and I literally couldn't stop staring lol.

yea I was actually thinking that I have a serious problem but I'm glad you agree lol.
ahhhhhh we definately do need it, badly.

  3. Your blog is addictive in the same way Confessions of a Shopoholic was addictive when I read it for the first time.

  4. hahah thanks! ;] I love that series

  5. woooow i love the scarf it is so expensive but so worth it ;) you know i saw a club monaco store when i went to ny cause we dont have it in the uk, and i immediately thought of you hahaa :p i kind of wanted to go it in but i didn't have time argh!

  6. That scarf is my fave, I saw a girl downtown with the orange one, I stalked her for a good 10 minutes. Actually, I lied about the last part.. but I was definitely staring.

  7. I do that with damier graphite men..

the one I have is only available in green though..maybe it was the smaller bandana. I actually thought of getting those too but they're all sold out..=\

  8. oh i love that fleur de lis necklace!
    it's so elegant!

    good luck tiffany!
and visit my blog when you want!

  9. I feel like you probably already would know about this, but kensington market is a girls best friend. You should check it out if you haven't already, it seems like something you might be into. You mentioned this awhile ago, but I'm soooo glad you did: everyone under the age of 25 (in Toronto) looks like a page out of the urban outfitters catalogue. My friend started attending UofT a few years ago and ever since shes turned to the UO darkside. Might I add, there is nothing quite so unappealing to me as a man dressed in ridiculously tight skinny jeans.
Geeze this was a long comment!
