331. NYC | Glen Cove Mansion

One night we went for a drive around Long Island to catch the sunset and the New Yorker showed me around the areas he grew up. I really liked it there. Lots of small beaches and beautiful houses. We stopped by this hotel there called Glen Cove Mansion.

Sunset at the Long Island Sound:

Then we went to Brooklyn Heights for this amazing view of the NYC skyline:

Then dinner at a restaurant called Buttermilk Channel:

The next day I had to pay a visit to Laduree/Madison Avenue:

Goodbye NYC..see you again in 2 weeks!

  2. I love the photo of the Long Island sunset. The skyline photos remind me of my first trip to New York when I was 18. I was with three friends and at night we went to Brooklyn to take photos of the skyline.

  6. Omg you're going to nyc so much! Lucky you!!! Laudree's!!!! Every time I see it I will think about my trip to Paris, the boxes there are so pretty I wish they'd just sell them as it is =P I also remember thinking "gosh I hope the macaroons don't dirty up the box" cause I wanted to bring it home so badly hahaha But since I gave it to my mum it's doing nothing but holding some paper clips lol Are you working partly in nyc too?

  8. The Mansion looks so big and has beautiful interior design. Laduree in NYC is my favourite. You know Laduree imports the Macarons all the way from Paris instead of making them in NYC.
