682. Reykjavik Day 3 | Golden Circle

Today we went on a tour of the Golden Circle, the most famous sightseeing route in Iceland. Since it was just a day tour, we only stopped at a few different sites which included Geysir, Gulfoss Waterfall and Thingvellir National Park. The weather wasn't that good once again. It was rainy and cloudy for most of the time, so my photos didn't come out so well. They came out really bad actually lol. They don't do the places justice at all. Oh and also, we didn't have any luck with the Northern Lights last night. We may try to go again tomorrow night.

I really like the unique landscapes here in Iceland. They are unlike anything I've ever seen anywhere else. We started the tour at 10:30am which was shortly before sunrise. I really enjoyed the drive in the beginning:

Our first stop was Geysir. Unfortunately I didn't get any shots of the eruptions.

Gulfoss Waterfall was our second stop.

The last stop was Thingvellir National Park. This was around 4pm and it already started to get super dark.

Tomorrow we have a tour to Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Hopefully the weather will be better!
