380. London | Snapshots

Some random photos taken around London! I think I'm due for another vacation soon as I'm nearly done all the posts from there (finally). The photo above is Kensington Palace. Rydges hotel, one of the hotels I stayed at, was about a 15-minute walk from Kensington Gardens so I took a walk there one day.




It was a nice walk with lots of nice cars along the way, including one of my favourites..the Mercedes G



I walked around the gardens for a bit, but didn't spend too much time there as it looked like it was going to rain (like always in London). I liked it though - will need to go back again sometime the next time I visit London, on a sunny day.

I stayed at a hotel close to Kings Cross station for a few nights. It's a great base for travelling all around the city.

I love AQ/AQ. I'm not sure if any of their clothes can be found here in Toronto, so I had to pay a visit to the store on Carnaby Street when I was in London. I bought a dress there (which I love - will post it in a future post!) then went to have lunch at Liberty. 

Another few nights, my hotel was close to Victoria station and about a 15-min walk to Buckingham Palace. I walked there one night for some night photography, and went back again during the day so I could walk through St. James' Park too. 

Another 15-min walk from Buckingham Palace you will reach Big Ben & The London Eye.

I flew to Paris for several days near the end of my trip, then flew back to London before coming back to Toronto the next morning. I didn't bother going back into the city for just one night, so I stayed at the airport/Yotel, - a nice little airport hotel. Their rooms are really cool. I booked it for half the night so I can take a quick nap and shower before catching my flight. 

In the morning, I went for a quick breakfast at Cafe Rouge. Their pain perdu is delicious.

Then lunch at Oriel before going on my flight. I ate here a couple years ago too, when I was flying back home from London. Sat at almost the same spot.

378. Paris | Jardin Des Tuileries

The Tuileries Garden is one of my favourite places in Paris. it's a beautiful place to just walk around and relax, especially with delicious Amorino gelato. I can spend hours sitting beside the fountain.













On one end is Place de la Concorde, on the other is the Louvre.

373. London | Harrods Food Hall

Whenever I visit London, I must visit Harrods at least a few times. It is one of my favourite department stores in the world. I love their Food Hall. Everything there is very beautifully packaged and displayed. They have everything from dozens of tea brands to chocolate, candy, meat, seafood..etc.
