305. Equestria | OFF TO NYC!

Words cannot express how much I LOVE and WANT these boots!!! I saw them months ago and fell in love immediately. I found them here last weekend and tried them on..did not want to take them off! The sales associate persuaded me to put them on hold until next week. I want them so badly but can't afford them yet :( Especially since I'm heading off to NYC tomorrow and want to do another Europe trip this year I need to save..ugh. I'll get them eventually. Can't remember the last time I've wanted something so badly.

So this is my final post before I head off to New York. I'll be updating frequently when I'm there so keep checking back!! (well I said this last time when I went to Europe and still, 6 months later, I'm still posting the photos hahah. But let's hope I actually do it this time.)

Went for dinner by myself at the Royal York's Library Bar earlier this week. There was a snowstorm and I wanted to go somewhere accessible by the indoor PATH (that my building is connected to) so I headed to the Royal York. I love the Christmas season there. So cozy, especially in the middle of a raging snowstorm. I rarely (almost never) dine alone when I'm in Toronto but it was actually kind of nice. I should do it more often.

124. VIP Thrills

The Audi R8..
Earlier tonight there was an auction at my building's penthouse, hosted by VIP Thrills. I went to go check it out (mainly because it was in the penthouse). Lots of good-looking men there too ;]
Here's the Press Release I found.. judging by that it seems like the penthouse is currently owned by Sotheby's?! I have a thing for Sotheby's properties. I also picked up one of their real estate catalogues at the auction..I've been looking for one of them since FOREVER - I've seen it online but didn't know how to get them to send me one. Gives me motivation to someday find a way to own a 80 million euros estate.

This is the world's oldest hockey stick (valued at about $4 million). I can't imagine anyone who would buy it though. Actually I'm not even sure how many things they sold at the auction by the end- there was a lot of hockey related stuff..& some art pieces but none of them were extremely amazing. The auction had open bar - I tried something called a Royal Canuck Cocktail? Such a Canadian event.




After that I went to look at one of the other penthouses that's on sale now. I've been wanting to go up there for a long time.. I didn't know they furnished it already though. But it actually isn't that nice..I think the layout and interior decoration could've been way better. My favourite part is the bathrooms.

84. Toronto | Shangri-La Condo Hotel

Nice package delivered by courier to me this morning, from the most amazing building to be completed in Toronto in a few years...the Shangri-La!!!!!
It's sooooo luxurious..ahhhhhh ♥ Click on the link & go to their "residences" page. My next condo-dream is to own one of their private estates suites. Shangri-La was originally founded in Hong Kong, which is probably another reason why I love their hotels so much.

They sent me these things..a large coffeetable book about the building & a novel called Lost Horizon (the name "Shangri La" originated from this book). A few people I know have told me they were thinking of getting a place here..which is the reason why I've spent the past few days glued on their website/dreaming about this building. Gosh I want to live here so badly.



Condo-Hotels are the new trend right now. I wish they wouldn't build so many though..makes my place less special. My building is the first "condo-hotel" in Toronto I think.
All the new ones are really luxurious..like the Trump Tower, Ritz-Carlton, 1 Bloor..ah I want a suite in all of them. If I ever become a billionaire, I would collect properties. But obviously in more exciting cities around the world.

49. Breguet

So instead of doing homework, I am on the Breguet website, adding to my ever-increasing wishlist. I LOVE BREGUET!! It's now my favourite brand for watches. 
But after a bit of searching I found out that pretty much all the ones I like costs upwards of $30,000. Some even up to $90,000. But it's nice to dream...
Miroslava Duma has this watch. That's kind of why I went on the Breguet site in the first place.

Then I decided to look at some of the men's watches...I think it's safe to say that it's all much nicer than the women's collection.

A Breguet watch is now on my list of "must-have-items-before-I-die", right up there with the customized Goyard trunk. hmm I can actually afford a few trunks for the price of one watch. Or even a car. Or even the down-payment of a house. Or even a trip into space on the MiG-29 .

gosh I am so materialistic. That $48 million in yesterday's 649 lotto sure would come in handy.
