747. Azores Day 4 | Sete Cidades - First Attempt

The most popular view of Azores is Sete Cidades. Yesterday we attempted to go. We took a bus that was supposed to bring us there but I think we accidentally got off at Sete Cidades town instead and not at the lookout point where all the beautiful photos are taken of the view. When we got off at the town, we found out we were about a 2 hour hike away from the lookout spot and there wasn't a safe pedestrian trail to get there. So we decided to walk around the town instead which was really nice too. We will attempt to visit Sete Cidades again next week! (Luckily we have a month here so we can take our time lol)






Sete Cidades is a very small town with charming little houses. I really enjoyed walking around there.


The beautiful turquoise blue lake (that is meant to be seen from way up higher)


There's a LOT of cows in Azores (more than there are people). We were walking up a little road when a bunch of cows came walking down so we stepped to the side to let them pass. This one decided to turn and stare at us lol.


At night we had dinner at this restaurant called Taberna Açor. It was really good! We were lucky to get a table outside because soon there was a ton of people waiting for a spot.




Eating as much pineapple as I can during this trip!
